ESET rolls out its latest Mac based security suite
Security solutions provider ESET has launched its Cyber Security software suite.
This is a new collection of protection options and solutions designed to offer users on Mac systems the necessary defences when browsing online or downloading files.
Cyber Security aims to keep Mac users safe from all types of web threats, including viruses, worms and spyware, offering them the peace of mind that they can share personal or sensitive data online without the worry of it falling into the wrong hands. As a comprehensive protection suite, the software not only protects from Mac threats but Windows- based ones too.
Users will appreciate the minimal demands of the software, which maintains a high-level of protection that doesn?t result in internet slow-downs.
ESET says the suite is barely noticeable and runs quietly in the background, only asking for attention when it is needed, which means users can work or play uninterrupted while safeguarded from threats.

Cyber Security is available in two versions: Standard and Pro. While the software?s Standard edition includes all of the above features, the Pro version incorporates a number of additional features, which provide even greater protection.
One of these is a set of parental controls, which allow parents to set strict guidelines for their children?s web experience and allowing, blocking or monitoring certain sites based on a number of customisable criteria.
Identity theft protection is another feature of the software?s Pro edition, which protects its users? sensitive information when banking or shopping online and keeps them safe, even when using public Wi-Fi connections.
