BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) ? The Montana State volleyball team is facing a few personnel changes.
Head coach Kyle Weindel says the Bobcats' leading hitter, Sarah Horton, has left the team.
The six-foot junior outside hitter was found academically ineligible at the end of last semester. Weindel did not say if the eligibility issue was Horton's reason for leaving the team. The Bozeman Daily Chronicle (http://bit.ly/ULexuH ) could not reach Horton for comment.
Horton led MSU with 497 kills in 2012 and added 28 ace serves, 20 assists, 311 digs and 46 total blocks.
And on Sunday, fifth-year assistant coach Jenifer LaRoy announced she was leaving the team because her husband received a job offer in Pullman, Wash., that they could not pass up.
